What is Biodiesel?

Biodiesel is an advanced biofuel similar to conventional or fossil diesel. It is a cleaner-burning, drop-in replacement to petroleum diesel fuel. Biodiesel can be produced from straight vegetable oil, animal oil/fats, tallow and waste cooking oil. The process used to convert these oils to Biodiesel is called transesterification.

What is B5, B20?
The amount of biodiesel mixed into Diesel is the product’s blend level. This is commonly abbreviated to “B” and then that number. B5 is 5% biodiesel and 95% petroleum diesel, for example. B20 contains 20% biodiesel.

What is Distilled Biodiesel?

It is a clean fuel that has been purified through the process of distillation. Biofuel distillation is a method for taking a biofuel and removing particles and impurities within the liquid through the evaporation and condensation process. These particles and
impurities can lead to the clogging of the fuel filters in trucks.

Can I add Biodiesel to my operation?
Yes, If you have a fleet and want to start using in between B5-B20, just pump it into your diesel vehicles. Biodiesel blends don’t require any vehicle upgrades.

How much Investment Required for dealership?
To set up a Retail out unit approximately INR 55-60 lacs is required in addition to land. We will help you with basics requirements of RO like design, dispensers and required approvals.
